The moon was huge tonight so I though I go out to photograph it. I’ve decided instead to take some long exposure shots with the sky.
35mm, f/8 at 15 seconds as ISO 1600
35mm, f/8 at 20 seconds at ISO 200
35mm, f/8 at 15 seconds at ISO 1600
One side of the sky was dominated by clouds and the moon, and the other side was clear.
Equipment used: Nikon D40, Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G.
After a long break, I have a bunch of pics to share. I’ll start slowly with a few night shots. I hope I’ll have time to post the rest soon.
Start of a beautiful night…
Some shops in the passing light…
it’s almost dark….
…stars are already visible….
…and finaly, time for sleep under the clear sky. (that’s my window by the way)
Camera – Nikon D40; Lens – Nikkor 50mm and 300mm
Since a long time, I’ve been thinking about shooting the stars. Of course starting with the moon seemed the logical step. Equipment & stats (unfortunately I don’t have proper lens suited for night sky photography):
