  1. Some nice pics Arzki and lovely subject matter. My only comment that I would make is that maybe the pics are a little on the dark side. Tending to make them appear dull!! I feel a little more Brightness and Contract along with a touch of colour management to make the pics jump of the page would add considerably. Also consider using a wider aperture to put the background more out of focus, also helping the subject to stand out more.
However, that is just my opinion and I trust you will take the comment as genuine feedback.

    Keep up the good work

    • Thank you Mark for your feedback. All comments that help me improve my photography are most welcome.
You are right about the pic being on the dark side. There is a good reason for that. The shooting took place in a forest like environment, on a winter afternoon day, so the natural light has been already diminished.
I have been using my 55-300mm lens, to be able to get closer to the subjects. It’s f/4.5-5.6 didn’t help in the environment setting, so I was using shutter speeds of 1/30 or even 1/20.
I have abandoned for non specific projects to use RAW photography, so I was shooting fine jpg. I have adjusted the levels and the curves of the lightning a bit. Apparently not enough 🙂
Anyway, this stroll in the park has been more of a Christmas walk, not a real shooting expedition. I have recently relocated to Germany and this park is just 7km from me, so I will have plenty of time to explore this type of shooting with different lenses and different light settings.
